Description

Musical journey through cultures In an atmosphere full of good energy and healthy competition, our section organized a musical quiz for Erasmus+ exchange students. It was a great opportunity for integration, broadening musical horizons, and getting to know different cultures through the music. Six teams took part in the event, each consisting of six participants. The participants competed in seven rounds that tested their musical knowledge, reflexes, and even vocal abilities. The game began with a round consisting of guessing songs by their melody – "Name that Tune". However, before the contestants could give an answer, they first had to turn a paper cup upside down. The fastest participant was awarded bonus points for their team. The next round was the "Impostor Challenge". Each participant received headphones and had to move to the rhythm of the music they heard. This was not such an easy task at all, because it had a surprise element - five people had the same song, and one had a completely different song. Five people could be listening to hits fromthe 90s, and the sixth person to classical music. The impostor had to stay hidden for as long as possible, and the rest had to try to reveal them. The third round was related to Musical Kahoot, in which participants competed with 15 questions about various, interesting facts from the world of music. After a quick, interactive quiz, it was time to check the vocal talent of the participants – in the fourth round, the contestants had to hum a song so that the rest of the team could guess it as quickly as possible. Of course, the classics could not be missing, the fifth round - "Finish the lyrics" - checked how well the participants knew the lyrics of radio hits. The next competition required not only knowledge, but also agility – in the sixth round, teams guessed the artist or band based on gradually appearing facts, but before giving the answer, three squats had to be performed. The finale of the whole event was a bonus round in which participants had to guess the favorite songs of ESN members. After exciting struggles, the winning team with almost 300 points on their account. The winners were honored with diplomas and sweet gifts.
