The goal of the event was to create a cultural sharing space for Erasmus students, where they could express and showcase their native language through the reading of poems, literary works, or songs. The project aimed to promote the appreciation of linguistic and cultural diversity, encouraging participants to explore and appreciate the beauty of other languages, while also strengthening the sense of community among people from different parts of the world.
Participants were asked to contact the organizing committee in advance to sign up and perform on stage. They could read poems they had written, poems they loved, or sing songs for up to 2 minutes. A total of 17 people performed, representing 16 different languages and dialects. A document was prepared with the original poems and their English translations, which was shared at the end of the event to help the audience better understand the meaning of the performances. No prizes were given, with the focus instead on participation and cultural exchange. At first, it was difficult to convince Erasmus students that the event would be interesting, and they needed some encouragement to sign up. However, once they recognized the event's value, many registered even at the last minute.
