Goal of the Activity
The event aimed to raise awareness about gender differences and preconceptions that are still present in our society towards the female gender.
Description
During the event we watched Hidden Figures, a film that came out in 2016 about the real story of three Afro-American women who went against racial and gender differences to prove their worth at NASA.
After that, we gathered in a circle and started a debate on what for the Erasmus are the main causes of gender inequality, how we can defeat them and some of their personal experiences, ending up supporting each other difficulties and admitting some of our personal misogynistic behaviours.
