The goal of the activity was to show the italian culture throw italian Cinema
Description
The participants could vote a movie from a list of 4 movies we reccomended. We choose 4 movies that describe the country in different historical times, from the '60s to nowadays. For each movie we provide informations about the plot and we explained why we reccomend it, providing also some historical background informations.
"Il sorpasso" was the most voted,it is universally considered a masterpiece and it is one of the greatest examples of the “Commedia all’italiana” genre. The film is set during the economic boom Italy experienced in the 60s and, through its lightness and comedy, it touches upon a great deal of interesting themes.
