Visit the iconic cemetery of the city of Milan
Description
We organised for our Erasmus students a visit to the citizens of the old Milan, in the biggest outdoor museum of the city: the Monumentale cemetery. This iconic structure of the city contains the finest milanese examples of funerary art. Inside you can discover the way Milan payed homage to its most important personalities, such as Alessandro Manzoni and the Campari family.
We guided the students through the cemetery and explained its history and the most important tombs.
