Goal of the Activity
The activity had many goals, such as:
- familiarization with the city, to help students with their orientation;
- building social connections, as it was one of the first events organized this academic year, it was also an opportunity to meet new friends;
- encouraging a sense of belonging;
- enhancing cultural awareness, showcasing the city's unique characteristics.
Description
After a brunch together, students were invited to discover the city of Modena by walking. Modena is full of tradition: it is the home city of Luciano Pavarotti, and it is famous for its vinegar.
The tour typically begins at the Piazza Grande, where students can admire the Modena Cathedral and its iconic Ghirlandina Tower.
The city tour continues for all the city centre, including visits to the Abinelli Market and the Foro Boario building.
