Goal of the Activity
To give insights on the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Modena to the newly arrived international students.
Description
International students were guided through the streets of Modena by ESN Modena volunteers. The city tour started at Parco Giardini Ducali Estense with an introduction to the history of Modena and the Estense Duchy. It then continued along Corso Canalgrande towards Piazza Roma, with a stop at Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti. All following stops - Teatro Storchi, Piazza XX settembre, Albinelli Market, Piazza Grande - were paired with information and historical facts about the cultural sites. The tour eventually ended in Parco Novi Sad.
