The goal of activity is to promote mobility programmes to the local students and to bring up the topic of upcoming European Parliament elections. We want to inform students and local community about their democratic rights and foster discussion about what EU does for us, with highlight on Erasmus+ and opportunities for youth.
Erasmus students from more than 20 countries brought promotional materials from their cities, countries and universities and shared them to local students, thus promoting their cities and universities. Local students had the opportunity to talk with incoming students and thus learn first-hand information about potential Erasmus destinations and to talk about the opportunities other EU countries are offering. The participants also had the opportunity to play a memory game where we promoted Universities that are part of the SEA-EU alliance. The event also had panel sessions about the EU and our rights, where we talked with the students about the upcoming EU elections and what the EU does for them and how it can be improved, what is it that young people and students need, with a focus on Erasmus+ and opportunities for youth.
