Goal of the Activity

During the mixology night, we extended a warm invitation to our Erasmus students, encouraging them to immerse themselves in the art of cocktail making alongside seasoned baristas. Together, they delved into crafting some of Italy's most renowned refreshing beverages. This vibrant event not only fostered a sense of community among the students but also provided an avenue for interaction with the locals. As they concocted drinks for both patrons and residents of Bookique, a cultural hotspot owned by the municipality of Trento, bonds were forged, and cultural exchange thrived. Our overarching objective was to bridge the gap between our international students and the Trentino community, emphasizing the enriching diversity that enhances our city's fabric. By crafting tantalizing beverages, we aimed to facilitate organic connections between our students and the citizens, fostering dialogue and mutual understanding during the drink preparation process.

Description

We met at Bookique at 20.30 and we divided the participants into two groups (one hour apart). We started with a sort of lesson about typical Italian drinks. The bartender involved them during the class and after that, they were divided into couples to make the drinks with her help.

It was an occasion to spend a different night together and also to learn new unconventional skills. Our Erasmus students were really happy to do this kind of activity and the event was soon sold out.
