The goal of the activity was for erasmus students to discover the main points of the city. We organized it the last week of September, when many of them had already arrived but had not had a chance to delve into the city. The purpose was to familiarize them with the city and show them the main cultural and historical attractions of Milan.
The tour was 3.5 hours long, divided in 13 stops, from Piazzale Luigi Cadorna to Darsena. At each stage we talked to them about the most important topics related to history, art, and interesting facts about that particular place.
The stops were:
Cadorna Square, Sforza Castle, Sempione Park/Arch of Peace, Garibaldi Statue/Cairoli Square, Business Square/Cattelan Statue, Merchants Square, San Fedele Square, Scala Square, Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, Duomo Square, Santa Maria presso San Satiro/Torio Street, Column of San Lorenzo, Darsena.
