Goal of the Activity
  • New perspective about the motivation of our members and what our section can offer them.
  • New approaches in involving new members into operation of the section.
  • More detailed view to methods on how to deal with stress.
  • Increased awareness of burnout syndrome and how to prevent it
Description

This event was led by ACSA - Academic Centre For Students Activities. There were two workshops, each took three hours, and one was dedicated to fair remuneration of our members and the second one to stress and burnout syndrome. We talked about the motivation of our members, what would make them more motivated, what membership in our section provides them and different approaches to remunerate them. During the workshop we talked about many interesting ideas which we will try to implement in the future.

The second one started with describing and explaining different types and sources of human stress, ways how to handle our feelings under stressful situations, and methods on how to recognize potential burnout syndrome. We’ve talked about burnout syndrome in more detail in the case of volunteering activities with team members and also in the perspective of members’ future employment.
