Description
Russia’s Maslenitsa is a celebration of the imminent end of the winter. Also known as ‘pancake week’, the traditional Russian festivity is famous for its blini (pancakes) with many fillings and toppings, from sour cream to caviar! It is also known for the winter scarecrow which is burned during the celebration as saying goodbye to the cold season!
