Goal of the Activity

Our main goal was to get international students familiarised with Romanian spring traditions by means of a practical activity.

Description

We know you're ready to welcome the new season, but what about doing it the Romanian way?!

Martisor, which literally means 'little march', is an authentic Romanian celebration meant to mark the coming of spring. It takes place on March 1st every year and is characterised by unique traditions, including symbolic arts and crafts.

Up for creating your own traditional Romanian crafts right from your Erasmus home? An experienced ESN volunteer will take you through the entire process.

All you'll need for this workshop are printer paper, some thick string, creativity, and willingness to delve into Romanian culture! We're more than certain that you'll be satisfied with what will come out of your hands.
