The goal of the "Map Coloring" activity was to engage students in a creative and interactive way, allowing them to share their travel dreams and Erasmus aspirations visually. By inviting participants to color their desired destinations, we aimed to inspire a sense of global curiosity, connect students through shared dreams, and create a vibrant, collaborative art piece reflecting our community’s international interests.
For this unique event, we designed a world map template on Canva, leaving each country blank for participants to fill with color. We then generated a QR code linked to the map and created cheerful posters that we placed at high-traffic spots across our busiest campus. Through the QR code, students could instantly access the map on their devices and color in countries they wished to visit or where they hoped to study abroad.
As the day unfolded, the map transformed from a simple outline into a kaleidoscope of colors, each shade representing someone’s dream destination. By the end, we had a stunning, lively map filled with countries from all continents, each marked with the ambitions and desires of our community.
