To show symbolic places of mafia's presence in our city and tell its stories, trying to debunk the clichés around organized crime.
This tour was organized with Libera association, which is responsible, among other things, for helping organizations and associations to obtain the assets confiscated from the mafia, therefore we decided to visit them and let us better explain how this process works.
After an introduction on what Mafia is and how it works in Europe and more specifically in our city, we visited the neighborhood of La Maddalena that houses 67 of the 96 assets confiscated in Genoa.
We met the people and associations that today manage these assets, while we observed some murals related to the history of the mafia in our city making us explain their history.
