Raising attention for the topics of gender awareness and sexual consent, not just in abstract theory, but by means of practical situations. We hoped to give the participants many new thoughts, enabling them to have more mindful communication in the future, more pleasant for everybody. Combining this with the topic of flirting, we aimed at attracting people who normally would be rather hesitant regarding these topics.
With radical honesty, mindfulness and (self-)compassion, in this workshop we want to get to the bottom of gender stereotypes in love, relationships and sexuality, question norms that prescribe certain sexualities, and curiously approach our feeling of shame. We want to achieve a lightness in contact with each other and we don't want to let the joy of interpersonal encounters be taken away from us despite restrictive and dangerous gender stereotypes. We want to laugh and celebrate the amazing awkwardness of flirting!
