Local Platform I has the goal to make the volunteers of your section get to know each other in order to foster community building. It furthermore aims to transmit knowledge about the ESN local, national and international level.
Local Platform I took place over two days but without organising sleep over for the participants. Friday night had first an informative session about who we are as ESN Utrecht, secondly shared important facts about the national and international level of the ESN network and thirdly gave all the committees the chance to introduce themselves. After that some low key games such as Who am I, Pictionary and This or That? were played at different tables in the bar.
On Saturday the programme was to have an online session in which some more was told about ESN and its causes as well as the board's policy plan main ideas. After that a one hour session was organised separating the participants by their function in their committee (eg. all the presidents went with the board president). Everybody had lunch together in a park after that and in the afternoon groups were formed in order to play a photo hunt across the city.
