Listening with your eyes: discovering the sign language

We had a webinar together with "Guanti Rossi", a social organisation that deals with the world of deafness, with the intention of raising awareness about this world and its means of communication and to include deaf people in social activities, student and social life without barriers.
We also talked about the Italian Sign Language (LIS), its characteristics and peculiarities and the International Sign Language (IS).
At the end of the speech by Nicole and Martina (who translated the whole webinar in LIS), lots of questions were asked and the effects of the pandemic on this subject were explored.
