During the sessions participants:
- Got to know what ESN is, its impact on society and the importance of volunteering
- Understood how they can use volunteering and Erasmus+/mobility experiences as a tool in the labour market and their CV
Description
The agenda of the Learn about ESN session and the importance of volunteering included:
- -Opening & Greetings
- -What is ESN (small game) & presentation
- -How to use volunteering and Erasmus+/mobility on your CV and workplace
- -Questions
- -Closing
The specific event was open to the local community and students, as an outreach attempt, so they got to know the work of the Erasmus Student Network in a city that is mostly excluded from large events related to mobility, Erasmus+ and the EU. The city of Chania, however, has a lot to offer, given its large student population and three educational institutions being based or having faculties in it: TUC, HMU and the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAI Chania). In that way, the impact that our Local Section, ESN Greece and volunteering organisations in general have on the student communities of the country can be greatly felt and appreciated.
