Organizing a Language Game Night our goal was to make international students discover and practice other languages besides their own, while playing different social games and ice-brakers with volunteers, other erasmus students and local participants.
It was an occasion to meet all together, speak different languages and bond with every people in a simple and fun way, representing the spirit of multiculturalism embodied by ESN.
The Labor Club, a cultural association where different events like comedy nights, concerts, dj-sets and more take place regularly. That's why we decided to organize there our Language Game Night.
Volunteers set some games and managed tables. At the beginning of the event, every participant received at player board which had to be used to take notes during the night. Every player had goals, written on the player board. One of the goals was to participate to every single game played at each table; and all of them were played in different languages. Once accomplished every goal, points were summed and winners received awards. The language game night was a success.
