Goal of the Activity

The main objective of the activity was to enable participants to learn basics of Polish language. We wanted to convey them knowledge through quizes and presentations about the most useful vocabulary, false friends between Polish and English or some of the most often used Polish sayings.

Description

The event started with a question "What Polish words do you already know?". Using an online platform, the participants submitted their answers and then all words were read out loud and translated as well. The main part of the event was a quiz with questions about different Polish words and phrases. Then, we moved to presentations about Polish sayings and false friends between Polish and English. At the very end, we did a similar activtity to the one at the begginning but this time the question was "What words have you learnt during the event?".
