The main goal of the activity is to create intercultural exchange via certain debate topics. The aim is to improve intercultural dialouge, foster critical thinking, develop intellectuality through brainstorming and lateral thinking, and support different ideologies within respectful boundaries.
The participants are gathered in a silent room in a venue close to METU. They are split into groups of 5-6 people. Then, one member of each team is to draw a question from a bowl that includes various questions. The questions to be drawn include ice-breakers and deep-thinkers. Teams are to discuss one question from each category respectively, for a couple more rounds. The event is finished when approximately 10 questions are asked and discussed. The questions revolved around various social inclusion topics.
