The goal of the activity is to include our international students in the ESN life by giving them an open stage.
While we are organising a café, the students are preparing a presentation about their first language, culture, heritage, country and much more.
This way of learn by teaching, students teaching students can help to develop presentation skills, verbal language and gives a good opportunity for making deeper connections with international friends.
In our globalized world, the demand for language skills is growing – and this doesn’t just mean English! As the current lingua franca, English has proven its importance, but at the same time, multilingualism is more relevant than ever. Learning a new language is not only a great brain workout but also an opportunity to broaden your horizons. It is often the first connection between a person and a new culture, sparking curiosity and deeper understanding.
The idea is simple: At a Language Café, you can drop by, chat in a relaxed atmosphere, and improve your language skills while making new friends and exploring other cultures . The meetings are led by native speakersand are open for students to join anytime!
Join us for Portuguese, Korean, Italian, Hungarian, Japanese and much more!
