The goal of the "Language 101: Malaysian" event was to introduce participants to basic Malay vocabulary and phrases, while also providing insights into the rich culture of Malaysia. This workshop aimed to create an engaging environment for attendees to connect with the Malaysian language and heritage through interactive learning.
On November 16th, from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM, our members joined an exciting online session led by native Malaysians via Google Meet. Participants were introduced to essential Malay phrases and expressions, while also gaining an understanding of the cultural context behind them. The atmosphere was lively, filled with laughter and curiosity as attendees practiced their pronunciation and engaged in discussions about Malaysian culture.
