The primary goal of the "Language 101: Greek" event was to introduce participants to basic Greek vocabulary and phrases, fostering a greater appreciation for the Greek language and culture. By engaging with an exchange student from Greece, attendees aimed to enhance their linguistic skills while simultaneously learning about the rich cultural heritage of Greece.
On November 15th, from 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM, our members gathered for an engaging online meeting via Google Meet. Led by our enthusiastic exchange student, the session offered a lively introduction to the Greek language. Participants learned essential phrases, which not only equipped them with practical language skills but also provided insight into the customs and traditions of Greece. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with curiosity and excitement as everyone embraced the challenge of speaking a new language.
