Then join us for a tour! We will learn about the history, the building, see some rooms one normally can´t see and hear some interesting stories about the house. Opened in 1913 the aim of the Konzerthaus was »To act as a venue for the cultivation of fine music, as a meeting point for artistic endeavour, as a home for music and a cultural centre for Vienna« (Wiener Konzerthaus). With about 750 events per year the house is next to the Staatsoper and the Wiener Musikverein one of the main venues for Viennas cultural/classical/music/performance events.
