Goal of the Activity
Visiting one of the world's largest and oldest mosques where they are located at Historical Peninsula introducing the Turkish culture and its oriental side to the Exhange & Erasmus Students.
Description
Volunteers and Erasmus Students met at two points, university gate and Kadikoy respectively; volunteers encouraged the students to walk and use public transportation several times during the trip. Afterwards they took the ferry to go to the European side where the historical sites are located. Erasmus Students along with the volunteers ate some of the traditional dishes and went to visit the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet).
