The visit aimed at discovering the military background of the country. November 11th is a holiday in France, as it is the date of the First World War Armistice. The goal was therefore to explain this date to international students.
Planned to spend the whole holiday in your bed? Or looking for a reason not to study on that day? Join us for a visit of the Invalides in order to learn a bit more about the First World War and the symbolism of the 11th of November in France, and discover a major architectural work in Paris! Together, we’ll visit the Saint-Louis Cathedral, the main courtyard, Napoleon’s tomb and the Army museum.
Free entry for European people under 26 yo or job seekers.
Health pass and face mask are compulsory.
Meeting us at the Invalides station (exit n°1), on November the 11th at 2 pm.
