International Easter Breakfast

The event consisted of various activities connected with the traditional way of Polish Easter celebration. A table with various kinds of dishes - prepared also by international students - was set up and allowed everyone to try them all. Before the students partook in activities, there was an official opening of the event with the head of IFE. During the opening, eggs were shared - symbolising happiness and prosperity - and wishes were made. The activities prepared for the students were as follows: egg painting, egg hunting, race with eggs and a quiz. As the names suggest, the students painted on the shells of hard-boiled eggs. After that, in groups, they searched and collected chocolate eggs. In the next activity, two groups were made to race against each other with one difficulty - they wore goggles that impaired their vision. As a last activity, there was a quiz organised for international students about Easter Polish Traditions.
