Food is one of the cornerstones of the national identity of any country in the world. It brings people together and it breaks boundaries, sparking conversations about cultural differences and similarities. That is why every year we organize an international dinner, where all participants have to cook and bring something from their own country to share with others.
The event took place at "Happen" in Modena, a privately-owned space that is given to associations of all kinds to organize their events. The dinner started around 9pm, once everyone arrived. People were asked to put a paper sign next to their food with the name of their dish, the country of origin and the ingredients, so that people with special dietary requirements could be aware of what was inside. The party went smoothly and all the food that was left over was then split between all the participants.
