The goal of the activity was to enhance awareness about the problem of violence against women and the importance of gender equality
In the occasion of the Social Inclusion Days 2020, for the International Day for the elimination of violence against women, we organized a campaign on our social pages to raise awareness about this problem.
For the campaign we invite our Erasmus, and the local community, to an online interview with "Non una di meno", an Italian association that is part of the Italian anti-violence centers that everyday help women. The erasmus could make questions to the women of the association, and create in this way an interactive way to discuss the many problems still existing in the way women are seen in Italy and in the world in general, independently on their social, economical and physical condition. The interview was very interesting and we could think about many things that, in everyday life, could testify the difference that still exist between genders.
Moreover, the staff of ESN Siena, in collaboration with the ESN UCM Madrid section and our Erasmus, create a video for the day, to spread on social network, such as instagram, their support to the campaign against violence on women, taking pictures with red signs and hashtags that contain the red color.
