OYY and University of Oulu organise the first interest society appro event on 1.11.2022, 14:00–17:00!
At the interest society appro event, you get to explore different hobby opportunities and get familiar with the activities of different hobby organisations. Everyone will be offered an event pass. By collecting enough stamps in it by completing tasks organized by the interest societies, you can earn a unique "hobbyholic" patch to sew on your overalls. As an icing on the cake, you also might find yourself a new hobby!
An appro (short from 'approbatur') is an event where you visit checkpoints alone or together with friends and collect stamps into your appro pass. To get stamps, the students need to do fun tasks and/or compete in different challenges at the checkpoints. Once the needed number of stamps is collected, you can get an overall patch from the event’s info point.
The event takes place in the main lobby of the Linnanmaa campus in front of the green coat racks and you can join flexibly between 14:00-17:00. However, there are a limited number of overall patches available, so we recommend joining rather early to secure one for yourself.
