The aim of SAMISI project is to strengthen social inclusion and raise awareness of political migration among university students, as well as to work for the improvement of the lives of political migrants especially in the university environment. With this event we wanted to start talking about this topic with our international students. To turn on their minds and reflect about it through simple activities such as games and watching a movie related with migration.
We started with a little break the ice game in which we asked the participant to write down a tradition or a curiosity of their own country and we mixed it with traditions of countries most affected by migration. Then the participant had to present themselves and guess the country.
We watched the movie "Life of Pi" and then we had a discussion round about it. We finished the night with a buffet dinner.
