Goal of the Activity
The goal of our Horoteka (traditional Bulgarian dance workshop) is to showcase Bulgarian culture and acquaint our Erasmus students with some of the main traditional Bulgarian dances, part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.
Description
We started our event with a short presentation, explaining the traditions behind Horo (Bulgarian dances), History, songs, and clothes. We then moved onto the workshop – we showed and taught our Erasmus students how to dance three different styles of horo (Право хоро, Бяла Роза, Ръ̀ка).
