On the occasion of the International Day of Remembrance, we organised a movie night with a final round of discussions to raise awareness among intenational students about this important topic.
On 27.01.21 we organised a movie night to mark Remembrance Day, where we decided to watch the docu-movie 'The Accountant of Auschwitz', a documentary about how the Nazis were prosecuted after the war and specifically the trial of Oscar Groening, a former member of the German SS. The event was held on Teams, where we shared the screen so that everyone could participate, even those who don't have Netflix. At the end of the film we had a round of discussion where we talked about how important it is to keep the memory alive and we talked about whether such a scenario could happen again in the future.
