The goal of the Holiday Market visit planned for the Erasmus students was to provide them with an immersive cultural experience that highlighted local holiday traditions and festivities. The visit offered an opportunity for students to explore the festive atmosphere, enjoy regional food, shop for unique handcrafted gifts, and connect with their peers in a lively, holiday-themed environment. It aimed to foster intercultural exchange and create lasting memories as students from diverse backgrounds shared in the joy and warmth of the season, strengthening their sense of community and enriching their overall Erasmus experience.
The holiday market visit took place at Vadi İstanbul Mall in Sarıyer, starting at 4 PM. The event offered Erasmus students a chance to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere of the market. Participants took part in a variety of free workshops, where they learned new skills and engaged in creative activities. They also explored local shops, discovering unique handcrafted products and gifts that reflected the region's holiday spirit. In addition to shopping, students had the opportunity to sample a variety of traditional foods, enjoying the flavours of the season. The visit provided a wonderful blend of cultural exploration, creativity, and festive enjoyment.
