Description
Hiking trip to Pustevny took place on Sunday 13 November 2022. Pustevny is a mountain saddle in Moravian-Silesian Beskids. Trip was approximately 15 km long and we enjoyed hiking in the fresh air. On our way we saw old wooden buildings in Jurkovič’s style, statue of Radegast, pagan god of the Polabian Slavs and statue and chapel of Cyril and Methodius (unfortunately the chapel was closed). One part of the trip was also visiting the Stezka Valaška, which provides us outstanding views of the Moravian-Silesian region. On the way to the top of this trail, we saw some informational tables about famous people from Moravian-Silesian and Zlín regions, information about animals living in Beskids and so on.
