Goal of the Activity
The goal was to do more than just a hike, we wanted to make an impact by planting trees and cleaning up the trail along the way, also gave participants the chance to learn about the local wildlife and explore Jordan's biodiversity.
Description
The event kicked off with a hike, where participants got to learn from experts about Jordan’s wildlife and biodiversity. During breaks, they took the opportunity to clean up the surrounding areas and make the most of their time. After lunch, they dove into learning about the native trees that grow in Jordan, especially in Jerash, and then got started with planting over than 300 of native forest trees to help fight desertification and protect the country’s green spaces.
