Hévíz trip with ESN BME (2022 Fall)

Lake Hévíz is the world’s largest biologically-active natural thermal lake, which is refreshing for the body and the soul. The water temperature is 30°C (90°F), making open-air bathing very pleasant, even in the winter.

Our train will arrive to Keszthely , which is a great opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Hungary, the Palace of the Festetics Family And after we are going to Hévíz by bus 

Program plan:

 7:00: Meeting at the train station. Mentors are going to help you buy your tickets 

 7:35: Catching the train at Déli Railwaystation (1570 HUF with Student ID) 

 10:10: Arriving to Keszthely

 11:00: Visiting the Festetics Palace (1600 HUF under age 26)

 12:30: Leaving the Palace

 13:00: Arriving to Hévíz by bus (~400 HUF)  

 13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant 

 14:00: Visiting Lake Hévíz (3300 HUF with Student ticket for 3 hours)

 18:00: Going back to Keszthely (~400 HUF)

 19:34: Catching the train (1570 HUF with Student ID)   

 22:24: Arriving back to Budapest
