Goal of the Activity
To provide comfort and support to women recovering from breast cancer by creating heart-shaped pillows that aid in their physical healing, while fostering a sense of community and connection through collaboration with the Slovak community.
Description
Our Heart Pillows event was a heartfelt initiative focused on supporting women recovering from breast cancer. Together with the Slovak community we helped create heart-shaped pillows designed to provide comfort and help in physical recovery. The warm hospitality from Slovak women including homemade cakes and tea created an incredible atmosphere of connection and care. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this inspiring project bringing comfort to those who truly need it.
