The main goal was to raise awareness for mental health, by reminding the audience of its importance, and by giving some tips to help promote it.
A publication was shared on both our Instagram and Facebook, during the Health and Well-being Week. Mental health includes our emotion, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. The importance of mental health is not always something we are reminded of, consequently making it easy to let mental well-being self-care fell to the wayside.
In this publication, we shared with the audience how to break the stigma regarding mental health, as well as tips to promote a healthy state of mind.
