Furor is a dynamic game about music and is played in teams. The dynamic is very simple: the participants are divided into two or three groups, depending on the number of people, and a die is thrown into the air. The team with the highest number starts the game. The die will continue to be rolled for the rest of the game to choose the different trials.
The game consists of 6 trials (1 on each side of the die), which are as follows:
1. A word is called out and they have to think of songs that include that word. The team that cannot find a song loses (this round usually lasts several turns until the teams run out of ideas). The most commonly used words are love, sun, friends, party.... (valid also in English).
2. One member of the team is chosen and is told a song that he/she has to imitate with mime so that the rest of the team can find it out (they are usually Disney or film songs because they are the easiest to imitate).
3. Each team is given a balloon and a well-known song is played.
In order to say the title or artist of the song, they have to blow up the balloon until it pops. If any participant says the title before the balloon pops, that team is penalised.
4. One member of the team is chosen and filled with biscuits. He/she is told a song and has to try to sing it with his/her mouth full so that the rest of the team can figure it out. If they can't figure it out there is a rebound and the other teams can try again.
5. Dance battle. A song is chosen and there is a dance battle.
battle. Whoever generates the most noise and atmosphere and does it best wins. 6. Teams are told an artist or group and have to write their songs. The team that writes the most songs wins.
Scoring: this is a little bit up to you, really. For each test they win they get a score. During the game you can give points to teams that are very animated, chanting and generally having a good time. You can also give points to those who behave well if you see that at some point things get out of control, which usually happens. In the end, the winner will be the one with the most points, but you can see that points are a bit subjective. The more competition there is, the better, because that way they play with more enthusiasm.
