To promote a more sustainable and aware food consumption by experimenting veg food, to reduce waste by avoiding disposable objects.
Picnic based on vegetarian and vegan food only, bought or prepared by each participant beforehand and shared with the others. Everyone brought their own reusable plate and cutlery. The picnic was also supposed to take place in a urban park (Giardino di Villa Engelmann, Via Chiadino 5, Trieste TS 34141), so that the participants could enjoy the contact with nature, but the location had to be changed because of the rain. Some time during the lunch was dedicated to discuss the topics of responsibile consumption and meatless diet.
The event was initially conceived to celebrate Earth Day and was also presented as part of the Social Impact Days.
