Goal of the Activity

To get to know something about a different culture with the help of one of our international students who was born and raised in that culture.

Description

We had dinner in a Greek restaurant in our city and tried some typical food with the help of one of our international students coming from Greece. He taught us how to read the names of the different dishes correctly and gave us some interesting information about traditional Greek food. Traditional music was played in the background. It was a lovely moment of sharing and a fun way to get to know something about a different culture through the easiest way to bring people together: food.

We were even joined by a member of a close ESN section, which allowed us to build stronger bonds with that section and think of other ways to collaborate for future activities.

By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
