The aim of this event was to involve Erasmus in the climate strike organised in the city, giving them the opportunity to make their voices be heard and protest for a better future. The participation in this event also aimed to raise awareness, both in Erasmus and in volunteers, about the climate crisis we are facing.
The day before the event, a workshop for volunteers was organized in which posters were created to be displayed during the strike. This meeting opportunity led to discussions on the topic of climate change, involved people more in the topic and made them reflect on the theme of recycling (in fact all the posters were made with recycled material). Equally, Erasmus were invited to create their own posters. On the day of the strike, we followed the parade organized by Fridays For Future with our posters.
