Goal of the Activity

To enlight the importance of mobility and the role that women may have in our society

Description

For the occasion of Europe Day, that coincides with Mother’s Day, we wanted to thank Sofia Corradi, whom we all know as “mamma Erasmus” (Erasmus mom), with an interview. It is also thanks to the steps taken by her, and the values that she has always pursued, that today we can call ourselves European citizens and that we have the possibility to leave for one of the most beautiful experiences of our life. During the interview, we could exchange memories and reflect upon the differences that exist now for travellers and, most importantly, students thanks to the mobility programmes. Sofia shared with us her own experiences and gave us important lectures, to continue fulfilling our dreams and believe in the power of Europe. She also gave us important insights into how world changed also for women, comparing her own times with the actual woman condition that it is still far for being equal to that of men.It was a special occasion, that gave us the chance to learn and reflect upon different important aspects of life.
