Aim
Educate the local community of volunteers, local students and internationals about ways to make local events more inclusive in terms of gender
Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
- tell the difference between equality and equity
- define gender equality
- implement different approaches and methods to make local events more gender-inclusive
Activities & Methods
a game that introduces the concept of equality (3 rounds of 2 teams passing a ball with circumstances changing after every round) > differentiating equality and equity through a series of guiding questions (the idea is the pax to develop the definition by themselves and give examples)> specifying on gender equality (definition) > working in groups to come up with ways to make 4 categories of local events more gender inclusive (sports, social, cultural, party) > present findings in front of the other groups + questions > debriefing & closing

via promo channels of 4 out of the 5 active sections - WhatsApp, social media, email (to all active members of ESN Bulgaria)
