Goal of the Activity

The aim of the activity was to connect Erasmus students with Madrid's civil society through volunteering. In this case, In this case we visited a space dedicated to the preservation of abandoned animals to adopt them and play with them.

Description

The staff greeted us and explained in detail how we should behave within the space and what the center's rules were, both for the well-being of the cats and for the comfort of the visitors. Each participant received a free drink, and after the instructions, we went to the room where the cats were. The activity lasted until 7:30 p.m.

During this time, the Erasmus students played with the cats, petted them, and were very engaged and happy. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, and it seemed clear that they were enjoying the experience.

At the end, many of them took the opportunity to buy a souvenir in the Cat Library's shop. Overall, everyone was very satisfied with the activity and said they would like to return.
