Goal of the Activity
Its main goal was to foster a spirit of sharing and solidarity with those in need and to let the students contribute to the fight against food waste and support poverty.
Description
On the afternoon of the 18th of November 2023, we joined the initiative of "Banco Alimentare", a charitable organization, typically non-profit, that distributes food to people in need. We gathered in front of the supermarket to collect food from generous people who wanted to contribute to the cause while doing their grocery shopping. We organized various shifts both in the morning and afternoon to let every interested student come and help us.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
