The goal of this activity was to provide participants with a fun introduction to Polish culture through traditional dance and shared experiences. By learning iconic dances like Krakowiak and Belgijka, participants not only gained insight into Polish traditions but also connected with each other in a lively way.
The workshop was led by one of our amazing volunteers, who is also a member of a local traditional dance club. Thanks to her the participants got an opportunity to dance Krakowiak (traditional Krakow dance) and Belgijka (a dance every Polish person seems to know by heart).
This event was a hit among the participants, as it's not every day you get to step into the rhythm of traditional dances. To close up the whole evening we had a snowball fight outside the venue. :D
